July 21, 2020 - Too young and therefor too much vanilla and tobacco but the black berries and cherries are convincing and tempting. Cellar for at least 5 more years.

May 21, 2020 - Frisch ab der Presse schon sehr gut, ob der in diesem Jahrgang für die schnelle Konsumation geeignet ist würde ich bejahen, ob er für eine lange Lagerung taugt, kann ich nicht beurteilen

July 1, 2019 - At winery from 375ml. In bottle only a week, we are the 2nd visitors to try the 2017 vintage. A difficult vintage challenged by frosts that resulted in high quality but lower quantity. Slightly darker purple than the regular Aalto. Juicy core of red and purple fruits, black cherry, blackberry, fig and brown sugar. More concentrated and svelte. Finish has some leather and tobacco. Long finish accentuated by the tasteful oak.
