  November 2, 2021 - Quite a change in 2 years. Last time the bourgueil showed better. This time the chinon shows better. Also the Chinon is still youthful and evolving. The Bourgueil is tasting fully mature and at peak.. This has softened, lightened and fully matured. That being said while tasting fully mature, it has some acids and tannins so it may age longer. Ruby color. Soft earthy sweet ripe fruit, hints of bacon fat, spice. Long finish. Delicious. Drinks well now. Definitely worth trying. I wish it had been imported into the US. Drink now and possibly over the next few years.

  April 10, 2019 - Nice dark Ruby color. Beautiful bouquet of bacon fat, smoke, Earth, leather, spice, Cedar. Medium Bodied. Super smooth. Sweet dark cherry, smoke, Earth, leather flavors with a hint of spice. Long finish with soft tannins. This drinks beautifully now. It can certainly last at least another few years, possibly longer no, but I would not push my luck. In my opinion drink now and over the next few years. Very enjoyable. Definitely worth trying. If you can buy it locally, meaning those of you in Europe, This is worth getting more than just a bottle of as it is a great everyday wine great QPR. Today's like me who have to pay to ship International it is worth trying a bottle but unfortunately the cost of shipping lowers that QPR enough that it's not worth buying in quantity. 12.5% ABV. Great balance. Delicious fantastic wine.
