August 28, 2021 - Dark plum, blueberry, stewed strawberry, wet stone, and tobacco. Rich, elegant, full-bodied Syrah blend, and the hint of Viognier gives it a distinctive softness. Fine vintage of this Clos Solene benchmark.

May 18, 2021 - Nice rich aromas, blueberry, tobacco, cassis, plum and hint of dark chocolate. Full body, moderate acidity, prominent tannins, not too harsh and lingering on the long finish. Will improve with more time in the bottle, but no complaints at this time. A beautiful Syrah, well balanced, but dont really appreciate any significant contribution from the Grenache.
