March 19, 2024 - This has gotten even better since my last bottle, sadly only 1 more left now. Turning a touch garnet with ruby hues. The wood is oozing out and the tannins have melted, lovely bay leaf & pouch tobacco are prominent, with roasted red capsicum & blackcurrants. Cabernet at around 10 years is something I always enjoy, and bottles like this are the reward for my patience.

May 30, 2022 - This is sitting in a very good place right now; the tannins have mellowed, we've got a little bit of toffee coming in, there's still dried bayleaf, cigar box, eucalyptus and ripe plums. All is in balance and harmony, it's lovely wine.
