Community Tasting Notes 1

December 13, 2020 - Well, of the hundreds of thousands of CT users, I'm the only one that has logged this wine in their cellars. Hard to believe, but I guess that this tasting note is just for me, then. This is a small Burg producer, who is not well known in the US, so very few cases actually make it here. I have a number of this producer's grand cru Burg's and, if this village wine is any indication, those GCs will be very good indeed.

Exceedingly velvety wine after a couple hours decanting. Brambles, plum, dirt, cherry pits, oak (integrated), and back cherry flavors. Medium+ acidity and medium- tannins. Nice finish. Very delightful now, but there is nothing here that suggests that further aging will improve the wine. 90-91
