March 2, 2019 - Hunter Whistlestop 2019 #1 (Hunter Valley): Vanilla, red berry, strawberry, a little wet. Proves sourly juicy, on the palate with strawberry fruit, tannins are muted and slight drying and it finishes quite vanilla with some alcohol warmth. Feels out of whack…perhaps harvested a little too early?
