July 22, 2022 - Light bubbles, light straw colour, lime zest and coriander aromas. Gentle acidity and good body - lemon meringue pie - though a short finish, some baked apple and burnt toast, very good. That was the first glass anyway - less appealing on the second which was more like lime cordial, lost its freshness. Maybe slightly past it or less good on its own.

January 13, 2021 - Lots of fine bubbles. Pale straw. On the nose - fresh and clean, hint of fennel. Distinctly lemony on the palate. A touch sour even, compared to most English fizz. Not particularly long. Maybe need to adjust the dosage. Very pleasant.

Went beautifully with salmon en croute. Not one to serve on its own. Got better with time. If you still have the 2014, I'd drink it up this year.

December 1, 2020 - Drunk with fish and chips to celebrate the first day of a new job.
Brioche, buttered toast, lemon curd. Complex and refreshing. Delish!

April 11, 2020 - 91-92+ On the richer end of the ESW spectrum, but no less refined.

N: Exceptionally strudely, very autolytic, w/ counter of freshly pressed very ripe bramley apples. Rich baking spices and butter compliment the fruit.

P: Whopping attack, concentrated, very fine mouse. Deep bread dough and Christmas spices. High acid but with the red apple strudel to handle it. Developing complexity, but still on it's way. Bruised cooked apple, rich.

F: More baking spices, buttered burnt ends and Granny Smiths.
