  September 4, 2022 - It has been a year and a half since I last tried a bottle. Opened and let breathe for a few hours then put the cork back in and went to a BBQ. Dark fruit on the nose. The palate was dark berries, dark plums, tobacco, tree bark, dried leaves and a touch of thyme on the finish which was moderate to long.

  April 18, 2022 - Decanted for 60 minutes. Still a little tight with lots of tannin. However, after another 15 minutes, tannins had softened, and the wine opened up. Nice deep cab with dark fruit, cherry and some spices.

  July 12, 2021 - Deep purple in the glass with nose of blue fruit, cherry cola, leather, and mocha.
  
  The wine enters the palate with blackberry and dark blue fruit flavors, evolving to show leather baking spices, leather, and bramble, with air interesting herbal element at the end. Dry, tannic, but fresh and classical. Four-hour decant. Wondeful!
