December 22, 2023 - Really enjoyed this wine. Opens nicely with cherry and cedar aromas. Nice long finish, and certainly a great QPR.

November 12, 2023 - Blew through my ‘13 vintage quicker than I should have, so was excited to have a chance to grab some later vintages from this producer. First pour was tight so decanted about an hour and it opened nicely. Light colored, especially for a Sangiovese, a chameleon nose that ranged between red fruits, leather, tobacco, and sandalwood. Mouth is sour cherry at the onset, but ripening in the middle and giving way to a nice acidity with well integrated tannins. Glad I tried it, but will let the rest sit for a couple of years.
