January 13, 2020 - Really poor QPR @ $60. Really good QPR through Garagiste at $26.70. That said, This is just an OK wine. I find the fruit pushed way over to sour cherry with very little balance. Oak is also there but there are few secondary nuances coming up from terroir and not any herbal qualities like garrique. This is pretty much a slightly hot (14.3%) tart cherry Pinot. Probably Yamhill is just a bit warm for Pinot, IMHO.

October 12, 2019 - Not really a fan, but to be honest this is pretty balanced for a big pinot noir, if a little hot. Oak is present but is backed up by fruit, alcohol, and acidity. Savory earth adds to the complexity. I get the clumsiness/blurriness mentioned by the other TN. Maybe revisit after some more bottle aging.

September 13, 2019 - Oaky, clumsy, blurry flavors. Disappointment.

August 24, 2019 - Decent fruit, but over-oaked to the extreme. Just bad.

    Avoid.
