March 11, 2023 - Pale lemon green in the glass. Simple nose, primary fruit - green apple, lemon, lime. Hints of lees contact in the background. Same on the palate. Refreshing character, moderate finish. Enjoyable, but forgettable.

February 6, 2023 - Enjoyed this over a few days, and it certainly punches nicely above its Bourgogne weight class.

January 5, 2023 - White flower, tropical fruit, buttery aroma on the nose. Very aromatic. Citrus, green apple note on the palate. Vibrant, refreshing, simple, clean. Great value chardonnay from great producer!

July 3, 2021 - Classy, restrained, really opened up with a couple of hours in a decanter. Initially, fairly muted notes of lime and seaspray but over time some rich, nutty notes appeared.

May 17, 2020 - Agree with Barry Rothof. In addition, I particularly liked the pronounced, high-quality woodiness.

April 20, 2019 - 2018 Visit to Domaine Anne Gros with Julie Tollot (Vosne-Romanée): Twenty year old vines on sedimentary soil, said Julie. On the nose, crushed seashells, citrus, pear and wet limestone. In the mouth, lively acidity. Nice minerality. Mealy. Citrus and orchard fruit. Preferred over the Clos de l'Eglise.
