June 10, 2022 - Lifted and elegant nose, but the palate is a bit harsh/rustic on the finish. Seems slightly high in alcohol too. I think time would help this wine.

May 15, 2022 - Hard to believe this is a regional wine. The color is medium garnet, so I thought it'd be over the peak, but oh wow the aroma! It was like holding a bunch of flowers and fruits right next to your nose. On the palate, it was elegantly sumptuous with lively acids, velvety and smooth tannins and a long, pleasant finish.

January 14, 2022 - Smells better than it tastes. Nose is very floral and charming with note of dried cherry and strawberry. Palate is rather single dimensional with mismatched strong salinity. Consumed over two nights. Finish is short.
Overall decent Bourgogne but probably not worthy of your special attention -

Drinking like liquid purple velvet! Is like how I would like to summarize the experience, dark cherry and violet. Very umami with salt, earth, something meaty. Structure at once like drinking strong black tea and something refreshingly juicy. Intriguing and engaging stuff.2 people found this helpful Comment
