November 14, 2020 - The colour is autumn gold with aromas of fresh apricots, bergamot and molasses. The taste is rich coffee, toasted pistachios and deep cinnamon. It is cask-finished in American White Oak ex-bourbon barrels and enhanced with a warm finish from hand-selected Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks that previously held 20-year-old Pedro Ximénez Sherry wines. I have many different Isle of Jura scotches in my collection - this is good but not among my favourites. I'm not sure I would buy it again.
