November 26, 2022 - Not my favorite. Decanted 5 hours. Possibly not ready. Black pepper, medicinal notes, big purple fruit. Guess it would rate 92 for those who appreciate this type of wine. Not your typical Côte-Rôtie

April 12, 2021 - Tasted blind. Knockout nose of dark fruit, violets, pepper, and black fruit. Really complex and gorgeous, couldn't stop smelling the wine. Nice acidity on the palate with a velvety/soft feel and dark berries, savory notes, and drying tannins arriving late. Long finish. Outstanding wine, I can't wait to see how this develops in 5+ years. But then it's so delicious right now, why wait?

December 25, 2020 - Opened on December 25th, 2020 (and another bottle about two weeks earlier). This is everything I hope for when I have a bottle of Cote-Rotie.
It has nice fruit concentration without getting in the way of the delicious floral and peppery notes. Will probably continue to age well, but I don't see why it needs to bottle age, it's just a delight to drink right now. Had it before we opened 2010 Pontet Canet, one of those magic nights!1 person found this helpful Comment -

August 27, 2020 - The other people at the table liked this more than I did; I thought it was a bit one note and purple, showing the vintage effects. It's not a bad wine, but a bit boring.

January 24, 2020 - Combines charm with power in a fabulous way. Delightfully seductive aromas with dark roses, red berries and white pepper. Pretty full bodied wine with great combination of fruit, acidity and tannins. A very good mouthfeel of darker red berries, light mocha, spices, dark caramel and deep salts. Also has a somewhat delicate center with pretty acidity. Nice integrated tannins. This is a great Côte-Rôtie. 93 points.
