  November 27, 2022 - Decanted for about 1 hour, but probably unnecessary. Very nice nose of cherries. Fruity with spiciness in the palate. Long finish. Nice Grenache

  February 20, 2022 - S: smells like musty cheese in a good way. Taste is tart: cranberry and leather. Like a librarian dominatrix from cape cod.
  R: musty and yet viney on the nose. Like a thick layer of dust over old thick books. Front loads acid and berry, currant through the middle, finishes just off-dry. Clove and tar and blackberry.

  March 12, 2021 - Decanted for 30 minutes, but didn’t really need it. Deep clear red-ruby. Mushroom, earthy, salty, and strawberry nose. The alcohol at 15.3% does come out after a few sniffs. Lighter bodied than you expect from the color. Palate is strawberries, basil, thyme, black pepper, and a bit of a vanilla. Balanced high acidity with just a hit of sweetness, and overall kept in check. Light round tannins. Alcohol warmth is present on the finish. Overall spicy finish from the oak aging that persists with a cola (or possibly licorice) undertones.
  
  Comparing this to the Tablas Creek Grenache is hard since you are comparing the wine making styles and these two vineyards are worlds apart in style.
