  June 12, 2023 - Four hour decant, this is quite big and quite hot, with a nose of deep black fruit and a ton of oakiness. The palate is almost overbearing, with a nutty, spicy presentation of dark fruit on the extracted side. The acidity plays second fiddle to rigid tannins that give this a very firm body, with a long played out finish. This lacks subtlety and is all about dark fruit and a lot of oak.

  July 10, 2022 - Last of the bottles we brought back pre pandemic from our trip to Barcelona. Just a lovely wine that is coming together nicely. Wish I had access to this winery to check out their other bottles.

  July 3, 2022 - For me this wine's alcohol level is way too high, it mentions 16% on the label but in fact it's actually 18.01%, you can smell it on the nose, oak, plus, coffee scorched earth.
  Way too big and way too high in alcohol for me to enjoy this.
