October 22, 2023 - Still reserved. Much more expressive on the second night. Tame red and black fruits with significant earthiness. Structure held firm over 24 hours.

June 24, 2023 - Received a partial bottle from my Oenophile neighbor.
    14.0% abv
    90% Merlot & 10% Cabernet Franc

Had a half glass. Deep purple on the pour; opaque in the glass. Fragrant nose of Blackberry, Plum & Cassis, carrying over to the palate. Surprisingly smooth texture with a great mouth-feel. Plush. Nice acidity with moderate, velvety tannins. Pleasant, lingering finish. Already an elegant wine despite its youth; Will only get better, and better with cellaring.

May 31, 2023 - Overall: quality wine, good structure, a little young right now but will be drinking well for the next decade+

    Appearance: deep purple, nearly opaque

Nose: Fruit forward but surprisingly integrated overall. Blackberry, blueberry, some minerally aroma, wet earth, and way in the background some oak influence with cocoa and baking spice notes. It is a touch alcoholic.

Palate: medium-full body, medium-high velvety tannins, medium+ perceived acid but this is super balanced. Wet rocks, blackberry, a touch of greenness in the tannins, oak hiding in the background, a touch of leather and allspice.

Finish: long, dry from the tannins and mouthwatering from the acid

April 17, 2023 - Deep dark reddish-purple garnet in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & cassis with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, herbal notes, spices, anise, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, plush, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blackberries & plums with herbs, minerals, spices, cocoa & a bit of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks well at present with decanting & extended airing but should develop further with additional aging.

July 31, 2022 - Delicious. A bit young and could use more ageing.
