November 19, 2023 - The color is deep ruby. On the nose there are pronounced aromas of stewed red plum, red cherries, blackberries, coffee. The acidity is medium(+) as well as the tannins are. The wine has a full body. On the palate the flavors are also pronounced and similar to the nose with vanilla in addition. The finish is long. This right bank Bordeaux is at the beginning of its drinking windows with a few years ahead of it. It's already pretty complex but I expect the complexity to increase with aging. Glass I used: Zalto Bordeaux

March 9, 2023 - Packing a lot of quality Right Bank flavor with dark fruits, graphite, leather. Big backbone will allow this to improve, but I like it already.

January 21, 2023 - 80 Merlot; 20 CF. 14.5% Alc. 40% new oak. Effusive aromas of bilberries, blackcurrant, graphite, dried sage, spice and mineral. A slight menthol wafts through.
Lively+ acid on the entry, the wine has a mineral edge supported by densely packed tannins. Mid to full-bodied, the spicy oak accentuates the wine and augments the flavours of crushed black raspberry, liquorice, ripe blackcurrant, and 90% dark chocolate with a twist of nutmeg. Finishes long with a warm, spice-infused alcohol.

June 1, 2022 - Bit too much fruit and oak here to be truly successful and doesn’t have the balance of ripeness the 2016 has. Maybe leave for a few years?
