October 14, 2023 - Not the acidity i expect in a Trocken. Balanced, Lemon rind with hints of lime. Stoney finish. Decent value.

September 27, 2023 - Too young, no complexity and not charming yet. 90+

June 9, 2023 - First time with this producer. I think the 18 vintage as a whole was a very large crop in the Mosel - acidity generally speaking is decent to good, in the back ground of the more hyped vintages of 15,19,20 and 21. That being said this was REALLY good. Electric acidity jumps off the page, so smart and cleansing. Add some limes and guava, a touch of smoke perhaps, some rs, but clearly so light on its feet. For $21? Unreal bargain.

February 25, 2023 - Palate outrageously good - smokey flint, dried wild herbs, honeyed fleshy peaches, m+ int, noticeable verve and concentration, medium dry, h acidity
Nose of slate, jasmine, melon skin, white peach, m int
Lingering peach and slate finish, f long.

Perfect balance between luscious and tense.
