April 14, 2024 - I continue to love this. Evolves quite a bit after opening. Seems best after 2 hours or so. Not too fruity but enough there. Good balance. Great with food.

October 12, 2022 - SEPHOMER’s note is spot on. Needed a day to fully open.

March 26, 2022 - Light ruby with clearing rose edges. Cherry and spice on the nose. In the mouth, lean, dry black cherry throughout and faint cranberry. Darker notes of coffee, shou puerh, and some rougher wood like a pine bark are present. This is quite textural and playful in the mouth -- acidity, salinity, and tannin are all present in spades and relatively well balanced. The acidity up front gives way to salinity, while the chewy tannins provides structure throughout and then feature prominently in the finish. I would say that if you drink wine for taste, skip this one. If you drink with a mind for texture, mouthfeel, and character, then this is a solid offering.

October 30, 2021 - Tasting notes here cover this wine well. Finish was fairly short which didn't detract from its enjoyment. Comps very well with Cali or Ore pinots at this price point, tho a clearly Euro style compared to those. Did a PNP so will take the advice and decent the next bottle.

October 19, 2021 - Burgundy Basics with Mark Oldman: PnP - nice Pinot Noir with cherry, bramble and some bark. Eventually, picked up additional mint and sage notes. A serviceable red Burgundy that would be good to order in a restaurant if you didn't want to break the bank. This is built for immediate consumption, but will likely last a year or so in the cellar. Good QPR (almost impossible to find a quaffable Burgundy for under $30.) 89 points and a very good value.
