April 30, 2020 - Pretty rich flavor with fruit piling up with some herbs. Quite interesting at the beginning but seems to be to "heavy" with herbal smell and flavor and much alcohol. I tried with ham at first. Seems I should drink with heavier food.
Purchased randomly as it was on promotion. Quite good value for money but I won't try more I think.

April 16, 2020 - Decent cabernet but with a hint of spice or eucalyptus that for me interrupted the fruit. Has good fruit concentration and structure. A fair value at this price point but I probably won't get more.

January 9, 2020 - Deep dark garnet in color, almost opaque. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & dried herbs, some spices, cocoa, minerals & a hint of cedar in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blueberries & plums with minerals, spices, dried herbs, cocoa & a touch of vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks well at present with decanting & extended airing but has potential for further aging .

November 24, 2019 - Very savoury and herbal, even after 1 hour in the decanter. Definitely wouldn't be a stand-in for a Napa wine.

Full bodied with depth, and the flavours grew on me over time. On the second day, focus is much more on cassis, black cherry, cedar and iron notes.

No need to wait on this wine.

September 22, 2019 - Some good sweetness upfront with a good core of black fruit, tobacco and baking spice to round things off. There is some great density and balance to this Italian Cabernet which has a 14.5% alcohol content. This certainly bumps up the wine’s “fruit forwardness” pretty nicely. Good effort....
