December 17, 2023 - Golden color, one would suspect that it would be older, but probably Pinot Gris adds more color to the wine.
Nose of ripe quince and apple plus a smokey note like silex, which makes it really interesting.
On the palate dry, medium+ acidity with a perfect round mouthfeel with just the right amount of alcohol (12.5%) - not overall alcoholic as many Grauburgunder turn out lately. Still fresh, but light oxidation note (bruised apple). I guess its on its peak. Beautiful (very) cool climate Pinto Gris.
