January 29, 2023 - Decanted for 2.5 hours. Blackberry, currant, earth and cherry. Nose a bit shut down. Flavors of cherry, blackberry, currant, iron and touch of bell pepper. Ends with a 20-25 second finish with mineral and iron notes. Still feel this could open up more. Certainly can benefit from additional age.
