  November 11, 2023 - This wine is in a good spot right now. While I think it may improve over time, I don't think that the minerality component will be revealed further. I prefer the 2013 Montjolys over this vintage 2012. Drink Montjolys for fruit and Chetillons for terroir.

  December 10, 2022 - I got this at a slightly warmer temperature. That really allowed the autolytic notes to blossom, filling the glass with warm dough, pears, quince, saline, crushed rocks, baked apples, custard, baking spices, toast, biscuits, and some nuts. There is excellent depth and poise to the Medium bodied feel while showing off crisp, high acidity. The feel has some weight as well with a lovely roundness that is backed up with a lengthy finish. Where the Les Chetillons shows more fresh fruit and linear qualities, this favors more lees and richer tones. There is a long life ahead of it, but it is drinking really good right now.

  July 7, 2022 - Intense citrus and ripe red apple aromas with notes of yeast and vanilla. Extremely complex and enticing.
  
  Very fine mousse. Amazing lemon zest character, also delicate orange, grapefruit, etc. Intense but light. Electric acidity.
  
  Backbone for years to come. Hold.

  May 21, 2022 - This was much richer & fuller in body than the Chettilons, there's a hint of oxidation in style (it could also be that this was exposed to heat while in transportation between distributor & retailer). I wish I had more detailed notes, but to be honest, I was kind of let down by this wine...but that should not distract from the quality of this wine which is among the best. Pair this with food for future enjoyment.
