May 19, 2022 - Needs time. Very tight upon initial drinking (pnp). Eventually opened up with some tart Cherry and nice earthy flavors. The tannic structure was a bit overpowering, though. That bodes well for the future, but it's not a great time to drink this wine. Give it a few years for the tannins to mellow. At very least, be sure to decant for a few hours. Left it unrated, because I believe my score today would be unfairly low - there's definitely potential here.

November 11, 2020 - My first out of some bottles. And what a fine wine in this price range. Rich, dark fruit a la ripe cherries, tobacco, leather and some dry forrestbed. Well balanced, soft and still plenty of backbone in this bottle to be kept many years to come. Potential is there for another +1-3 points. If this is the "entrance" to 2016 in Piedmont, I can't wait on what is to come. Stock up.
