March 21, 2016 - whoa - brawny wine, chalky tannins, integrated fruit, high quality. Could have easily gone many more years to develop secondary flavors.

November 27, 2014 - Double blind. Berry, incense, piney, smoky, with christmas spices, a whiff of EtOH, and an electricity reminiscent of better Priorat wines. I guessed a 10 year old Brunello, but once you mention Cabernet, it's pretty obvious that's in here too. Really enjoyed this.

November 22, 2014 - Dark, charred, anised, oaked, it looks modern but has an old school soul. Excellent richness and polish, yet terrific acidity balancing. Not sweet in my book, but there loads of dry extract. Lots of well-judged tannins on the back. This is wide open right now, but the fruit is still primary. I'd say 10-15 years of upside. Another successful sangiovese-cabernet blend. Impressive.
