Community Tasting Notes 7

September 10, 2021 - Medium ruby color. Spicy herbal and floral tones on the nose, with cola and rhubarb, all overtop juicy raspberries and crunchy red apples. Crisp acidity, easy-drinking feel with dusty tannins and bright strawberries, red apples and raspberries. Rhubarb, mint, tobacco and white pepper add complexity, with a crunchy, fun, savory feel. A small bottle of reasonably-priced Sonoma Pinot goodness. Aged nine months in French oak.

May 22, 2021 - Faint Pinot from the glass. Rich full fruit entry, then you get that dried tea, herb, iron, bitter finish. Stalks and green vines? Some tasters are not bothered by this, I am. Your style, if not, swallow quickly.

April 24, 2020 - It is a bit flat. Still Sonoma Coast so has some cherry, Eucalyptus, slight anise. Great nose

March 24, 2020 - Dusty on the nose with some dried cherry notes. Crisp on the palate with good acidity and tart cherry flavors. It’s a fairly simple wine in the more austere style but still balanced and pleasant.

March 23, 2020 - Not my favorite. I do not taste a lot of flavors. Almost taste Iron like.
