May 14, 2016 - A nice treat to drink aged white burg. So many get poured away.
Initial impressions were good, with complexity, fruit, balance. But became more oaky on the finished with time in the glass.
    Drink up!

May 6, 2015 - Tasted blind. Bright golden yellow and vibrant hues.
Fresh and mineral nose along with subtle smoky oak. It opens up gradually to show pineapple , lemon peel and yellow fruits. Nice elegant feel.
Fresh mineral entry, with medium richness on palate, exhibits smoky notes, citrus, lemon peel, spice and toastiness. Balance and elegant, support by bright acidity backbone. Long persistent finish with hints of mineral and vanilla oak.
Warming up to be more expressive with more bodied and prominent oak quality. Smooth and showing no sign of aged, amazingly young. Showing even better than the '01 tasted one month ago.

May 6, 2015 - Wah... This was dominated by sulphur notes for the 1st-half-hour to an hour or so, & palate was also not giving, so much so that I had almost wanted to "give up". Decided to let it sit and moved on to the reds, and that was indeed a rewarding decision. By the time I revisited it, this has transformed. White-flowers, peach, honey on the nose. Pure class on the palate too - cream/milky vanillin, pears, bright freshness/minerality that finished with good length. This was just great!
