    February 19, 2024 - Slightly flawed…

April 16, 2023 - This is a beautiful and elegant bottle of white Burgundy. White peach fruit, flinty minerals and spearmint. Silky and full, layered and long. Good mineral tension to the finish. Perfect balance.

October 16, 2022 - Sunday Salon (Chicago, IL): This suffered a lot from being next to the Salons -- "failed Champagne," as our host called it. It's definitely a very different beast and shows chardonnay in a very different light -- weighty and oaky and very broad on the palate. The contrast causes the oak to show through much more than it would if this bottle were at the table by itself. Not as complex as the best bottles of Ramonet I've had, it's hard to fairly evaluate this bottle because of the stylistic contrast.

September 14, 2022 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS September 2022; Chassagne Montrachet (By VD): In the bouquet yellow fruits and blossom, some butter and nuts. On the palate butter, white fruits, beautiful mineral impressions and oak. Good acidity and a great length. Luxurious wine.

I thought it was very nice after my tooth paste wore off!
Fruit and acidity are present and enjoyable but not remarkable. Balanced with a good bead of salinity to it. Good flavor and reasonable depth, fairly brief on the finish.
