March 1, 2024 - Krautige Nase, Apfel, Brot, Röstaromen, Apfelstrudel, oxidative Noten, Hefe. Im Gaumen reif, kräftig, ein Wein mit Opulenz, Komplexität, Druck und hervorragender Länge, mit nussigen und kalkigen Noten im Abgang. Love it!

June 26, 2023 - Chave and Flannery (Chicago, IL): From magnum. Lovely youthful chardonnay nose, with bright white fruit and modest acidity. Moderately creamy on the palate, missing full depth but still quite rounded and complete on the palate nonetheless.

February 4, 2022 - Disgorged May 2017, 100% Chardonnay from 50yo vines in Le Mesnil. Straw-coloured, with a hint of gold from maturity. Vanilla, panetonne, dates and honey on the nose, but brighter on the palate - appley, though still with a hint of glazed brioche - then a long, slightly chalky finish. Almost great, but let down by an underpowered mid-palate.

June 17, 2021 - medium gold color, ripe citrus and sweet brioche on the nose, on the palate candied almonds, full-bodied, primary but forward fruit, quite sweet and backward- very much in the vein of 2002, fine length, with time dark mousse notes emerge as well as the beginnings of a lovely creamy texture, this is a bit sweet for my personal tastes but is first rate champagne that really needs some cellar time to show its full potential.

May 15, 2020 - This is extremely nice. Loads of complexity and improves in the glass. Great value at this price range.
