April 10, 2021 - When first opened this bottle was way too cold, had it stored with the whites. Almost came across tannic, like grapefruit pith. Once it warmed up it drank beautifully. Strawberry, grapefruit, and a nice herbal edge. Slightly flat, drank closer to a red wine than a white as far as mouth feel and acidity. Drink it a little warmer, and realize it is a very different style than neighboring Provence and you should be happy.

August 1, 2020 - Ripe strawberries and cream. Orange peel, wet stone. Medium + body, medium intensity. Drinking fine now, but don't age it any longer.

August 3, 2019 - Light salmon pink in color. Full, fragrant & aromatic nose of ripe fruit aromas of strawberries, cherries & a hint of orange peel with overtones of floral notes, some spices & minerals. Light bodied with a good concentration of balanced & smooth textured, crisp, ripe fruit flavors of strawberries, raspberries & some cherries with spices & minerals. Lingering finish with a slight hint of residual sugar in the background. Drinks quite well at present & is made for immediate consumption.

June 15, 2019 - Rosés (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): Typically, 60% Grenache, 30% Clairette, & 10% Syrah from vines ave 45 yrs of age grown in clay, round river rock, & sandy soils; "Entirely hand-harvested. Maceration of 12-24 hrs to extract primary aromas. Fermentation with only indigenous yeasts at a very low temperatures over 2 days, then increased in temperature to 25°C for 7 days in order to increase the fruity taste. Aged in concrete tanks and s/s, & typically fermented to < 1gr/L R.S."

N: Closed; MINERALS with notes of oranges?

P: Med body; RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt (approaching threshold R.S.) met by a TANGY acidity which transitions into a LONG finish with swtish tinged frt. For now & probably through '20. My VG+; [This vendor's $14.95 puts it in the top 1/2 of wine-searcher's LIMITED current entries.]

May 25, 2019 - Winebar [1 Rosé, 3 Whites, 8 Reds, & 7 *shared* bottles] from 05/24/19 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): Typically, 60% Grenache, 30% Clairette, & 10% Syrah from vines ave 45 yrs of age grown in clay, round river rock, & sandy soils; "Entirely hand-harvested.

N: GRAPEY with notes of minerals underneath

P: Med body; RNDISH entry with ALMOST swtish frt (suspect threshold R.S.), acidity trying to counterbalance into & through the LONG, POSS very, VERY slightly bitterish finish with a certain pleasantness. More of a quaffer than with food? For now & through '20. My VG/VG+. [This vendor's $14.95 puts it in the top 1/2 of wine-searcher's LIMITED current entries.]
