December 16, 2022 - Just fine, middle of the road PN. A bit too acidic and lacked depth of fruit.

August 8, 2022 - Drinking very well. Has potential to improve.

May 13, 2022 - Consistent from previous notes: A tasty, all-around Oregon Pinot with terrific balance among all the components, with its acidity holding it together. If there is a fault, perhaps a little too much young oak, but that's a matter of taste. Sampled blind, I might have guessed it a Côte de Beaune.

(12/30/2020) I think this is my go-to house Pinot Noir. Tasted multiple times, and it's never disappointed me.

(9/19/2020) Remarkable nose of spice, even mint and perhaps menthol, almost like the vineyard is surrounded by eucalyptus trees (like Heitz's Martha's Vineyard). Fruit plays second fiddle to the spice, with medium acids and some tannin to finish. Alcohol is modest at 13.4%. Needs time.

(4/18/2020) Good color. Cinnamon and dried raspberry dominate. It has a slight ketchup-like character that I've often found in traditionally-styled Burgundies, probably from a relatively high level of acetic acid. This is not a fault but adds complexity. A wine that needs a few years to fully integrate. Normally $50+, available from WTSO for $20.

April 20, 2021 - This needs a long decant and best on day 2. Really enjoyable, lower alcohol beauty. The wine is real smooth and has flavors of cherry, cola and a touch of vanilla. Medium finish and crisp acidity. Very solid offering and QPR @ $20.

September 18, 2020 - Drank this over two nights. As with other vintages of Finnigan from Boedecker, it was my sense that this definitely benefits from air. An 88-89 on night one and a 91 on night two. Cheers.
