February 17, 2024 - Have had many iterations of this wine but still dont understand the hype

June 7, 2023 - Reminded me of a Moulin a Vent, with its earthiness, dark fruits and chewy tannins.

I'm surprised at the recent ratings. It's certainly nice but ....

August 12, 2022 - Pop and poured. Wow, what captivating aromas! Incredible, pure fresh mountain berries is the dominant note, but this is surrounded by all the other notes you'd get out there in the breeze, including the soil, green shrubberies, and maybe just the slightest bit of sweet tobacco. Really incredibly lovely and pure. Palate entry is soft and initially a little light in flavors, but as its held in the mouth and warms up, the acid dials up and brings with it some more bright bright, rather sharp red berry tones, more green shrubs, and perhaps a bit of graphite. An interesting mélange of spices blossom in the mouth after this travels down the throat, with heavy, sopping amounts of luscious deep berries. This really is a rather incredible, complete wine for the price of asking. It's not profound, but for what it has on offer, it presents itself incredibly completely. Killer juice. I think this will hold and evolve over the next 10 years, but that said, I see no reason to wait for its evolution. It's completely integrated and beautiful today, so I say go through 'em.

March 21, 2022 - Drinking great, lovely with sourdough pizzas from The Greens cookbook. Yum.

September 15, 2021 - Notes after following for two days. I think it is still wound up pretty tight and could really use a few more years because it slowly but surely continued to evolve until the last glass, where it had found better harmony and a richer mouthfeel. It's a good wine now, but it still has much more to show. 5+11+16+8= 90
