September 4, 2021 - Really lovely and shocking after last note from a few years ago. Here the wine was quite lively with the red fruit still singing and the wine showing clean (no brett). Must have been an off bottle previously.

December 26, 2020 - Most likely starting into decline. Shows structure, but the red fruits are starting to fade. Not much intensity with a short finish. Drink now. Enjoyed with leftover smoked beef tenderloin.

December 1, 2020 - Last bottle 3 years ago, PnP with dijon chicken burgers and Italian potatoes.

Medium ruby color, clear, some separation. Nose showing dark fruits, leather, earth. Slight graphite and floral on this showing. Palate of dark cherry, plum, herbs and floral pastille. Texture is smooth and elegant. Tannins smoothed and resolving. Medium weight and finish.

Slightly better from memory than last bottle, texture was notable. Medium body and lower ABV make it easy to pair with a broad range of foods (IMO). Still hanging in there, drinking well at this point. Great QPR, i paid ~$20

August 23, 2019 - Mild fruit, well blended flavors. Simple but pleasant daily drinker now, paired well with slow braised spare ribs in mirepoix with potatoes

November 24, 2018 - Note: I use a rating scale for which 85 represents a very good wine.

A very good wine, but nothing spectacular. This bottle was relatively uni-dimensional. I did not pick up some of the subtleties others noticed. Could be my sensitivity or lack thereof. No brett, but not a lot of fruit.
