July 5, 2023 - NobleRottersSydney - Henschke (Fix, St James, Sydney): {screwcap, 11.5%} [Sian - guest] We’d have drunk this before the 2012, but logistics intervened. Anyway this offers gentle lime and lychee fruit, plenty of acidity, with a slightly muted (ie. dumb/closed) palate presence. About medium weight, bone dry and crunchy, with a medium length finish. Very much in need of some time to blossom.

November 30, 2019 - PnP and I liked this from the off. Zesty lime ahead of a long medium-plus bodied frame. Some fruit richness but overall good balance. Very enjoyable now and with upside for later.

August 26, 2019 - An expressive nose of fresh lime and dried flowers. It is fine and chiseled, possessing great drive and finesse. There’s a lick of saline minerality to the finish.

June 26, 2019 - 2 weeks in Australia with a stopover in Singapore; 6/14/2019-7/1/2019 (Singapore, Sydney, Adelaide, McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills): Tasted at the winery. Color is pale straw. Nose is more floral - no petrol notes. Lovely balance of lemon/lime & grapefruit, tangy acids and minerals. Very nice! My favorite of the rieslings tasted during this trip.
