    April 12, 2024 - Last minute wine lunch (Gary's): Drank about 1/6th of the bottle over an hour. Bright red fruit which seems rather primary. I can't get it out of my head that this reminds me of carbonated red Koolaid, there seems to be a similarity there. Even so, this has been a pleasant but understated champagne and clearly others enjoyed it more than me.

    April 12, 2024 - Wine Lunch (Gary's Place, Hudson, WI): Medium plus sockeye salmon color. Drank a glass over an hour. Strawberry, sea spray, rising dough, almond liqueur, candied cherry, allspice, river stones, elegant and classy. This was a little warmer than ideal which had some impact.

    March 23, 2024 - Strawberries and dark fruit for a bubbly. I didn’t pick up some of the more traditional bread or toast notes as others have. A bit spendy for the quality IMHO. I prefer Billecart Salmon at this price point.

    March 9, 2024 - During a MOT walkabout tasting. A Rosé de Saignée (or maceration one should rather say), darker pitched than the blended ones. I actually like this more. If feels authentically "red wine-ish" not just in color, but also on the palate with with lovely phenolics. The base NV Rosé Cuvée was already very good (94pt) and the Cuvee Alexandre (95pt) even more refined, but also 3x the price.
