September 1, 2023 - I bought an entire lot just for this bottle. So rare to see the older Rayas-family bottlings and these days they're quite pricey so I took a bunch of other bottles that to be honest haven't been great and was pretty excited to get to try this. It's very good although it was paired next to a 2004 Pignan and that blew it out of the water unfortunately. Still, very nice to see the age and the style. Has less of the tea leaf nose. A bit more intenseness to this wine perhaps difference in the years?). Does drink very well though and seemed to be liked enough that there was not much left of it.

July 30, 2013 - In true Rayas style Light brick in color with clear edges and almost no sediment (half the color than the other 3), VG+ mouthfeel with raspberries, spices, and notes of leather. VG+ focused, sweet sappy finish
