  February 21, 2023 - Way way too young….amazing nose …kiwi , blueberries , strawberries all electric and integrated . Open / consumed for over an hour …never gains balance . Tart up front …fruit there but a bit muted and muttled….tar and spice …balance constantly shifts . Needs more time …5 years

  April 7, 2022 - Cab drinker's pinot. Rich with body and dark cherry fruit. Some pinot characteristics, especially on the finish. Easy drinker.

  March 2, 2022 - Decanted for 30 minutes. Not as fruit forward as other Walt California pinots and more pronounced tannins. Should probably have waited at least another year or two before opening.

  October 16, 2021 - Entering this from original handwritten notes: Received this bottle from a friend. We enjoyed an earlier vintage with her and were excited to have it again, but probably should have waited. Wonderful fruit (especially cherry) on the nose. Taste was silky-smooth as expected, but a little acidic. We just didn't give it enough time. I went out a secured another bottle and will be more patient with this one.
