March 7, 2021 - From 75cl screwcap, decanted 1 hour. Dark, dark dark. Iodine/licqorice/black cherry/clove scent; menthol-cooling, astringent entry; intense mid-palate with everything already mentioned + gamey venison/kalamata olive. Tannic finish becomes more friendly with time and air. I prefered this 2 years ago when it was still plush; it remains excellent, however, and has a savoury future until perhaps 2024. 90P

December 11, 2020 - From 75cl screwcap. Quick decant, continued to improve until final drop 1 hour later. Medium-bodied, highly refined black cherry-led PN. Linear from entry to finish, polished tannins, some menthol and spice. Excellent value at 23 EUR cellar door price. 90P

April 29, 2020 - From 75cl screwcap, best 1 hour after opening. Fine black cherry fruit, menthol, healthy sweetness and quite some weight (14% alc.), bright acidity. Ready now but no hurry; a serious, thought-provoking SB. 90P
