July 6, 2021 - An interesting wine, reminiscent of a Selosse lieu dit or higher end Vouette. Pale straw color, semi-oxidative in style, and savory in flavor. Fun, though not an every day wine, and certain to be controversial.

April 11, 2021 - 2014 vintage Wine and food pairing (Chef's table): 7 grapes used here, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Arbanne and Petit Meslier, all harvested on the same day. From a single vineyard in Bouzy, planted in 1923 and 1952 by Benoit Lahaye's grandfather. Spontaneous fermentation in wooden barrels with malolactic fermentation. Ageing for 9 months in wooden barrels on fine lees.
The wine shows high intensity in both the nose and palate.
The wine shows ripe concentranted citrus fruit, brioche, yeasty, nutty and powerful.
In the palate, the wine shows vinous character, ripe citrus, pineapple, pear and yellow apple. It has high carbonation, medium body and high acidity with long finish.
    Impressive length, depth and concentration.

November 25, 2019 - Disgorged 4/2019. Undoubtedly the best vintage I tasted so far - 2009, 2010, 2013. Stunning purity and balance. Gentle, focused, calm and fresh. Unique in taste, masterfully in the craft. High end of Biodynamic Grower Champagne.
