August 20, 2020 - Got a couple of hours to breathe. Drank over another two hours. Also had a 2017 Realm Moonracer open.
This wine had a wonderful herbaceous tone, with the dark purple fruit lurking . . .then coming in strong on the back end and the lovely, long finish. Very pretty and balanced wine. While the Realm had more "pop" this was a more focused, cerebral wine.
Now seeing that this was my only bottle of this vintage which is a shame. Excellent experience, but would be very interested to see how this drinks in a decade.
