December 16, 2020 - Gang of 4 in Covid19 times; Cornas vs St. Joseph (@ RW): Light red berry fruits and flowers in the bouquet. On the palate quite much bitterness in the start, light red berries and juicy acidity.

May 8, 2020 - Pale orange colour. Medium nose with peach, white flowers and red currant. Medium taste of peach, red currant, rhubarb and grapefruit. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. Small and well integrated bubbles. A very good Lambrusco on the dry side that drinks well now. Goes well with duck, poultry or pork.

March 21, 2020 - Wonderful little sparkling rose. We’re having it with tacos this evening. One thing I like about Lambrusco is it’s food flexibility - goes with a all kinds of foods. (BTW - it’s also a PERFECT pizza wine)

January 21, 2020 - Delicate but more intense than the others, pure, delicate cherry, great cut, acid, minerals in finish. Very good Lambrusco. At winery with Alberto and Stefania

January 12, 2020 - I made the mistake of chilling this in the fridge. When first opened the bitterness coupled with the acidity of the gas made this pretty much undrinkable. However, rather than just pour it away I put it aside for about 3 hours. On retasting it (at, I guess, about 16 degrees), things had improved somewhat: the fizz and associated acidity had moderated, as had the bitterness.

It's still very green, very dry, and with a strong bite to it - basically very very unripe berries and tartness. Very cleansing on the palate and with a sharp finish.

All in all this isn't really to my taste, but I can see that some might like it.

As an aside, although it describes itself as "red wine" on the label, its actual colour is that of a rosé wine.
