February 21, 2023 - D+0h: no deposit in the filter nor in the bottle, smells of sour cherry D+3,5h: purple red colour, smells of blackberry, sour cherry, smoke and leather, quite dry without being harsh, smooth in the mouth, medium body, in the mouth blackberry, sour cherry and leather, in the aftertaste blackberry, sour cherry, leather and a little bit of acidity, good length (30 sec), D+4h: gets a little bit sweeter now, not that dry anymore. Good red wine.

August 29, 2022 - Deep crimson. Nose berries and leather. Bitter cherry, blackberry, hint of pencil box. On Celebrity cruise ship in Skagway. Pleasant and good pairing with mediocre food

December 8, 2021 - Purchased on the RCL Navigator of the Seas and tasted from a PnP. Nose of Strawberries, barnyard, earth, and granite. Medium bodied, high acidity, and dry. Simple palate of plums and cranberries. Fine grained grippy tannins. Refreshing earthy and mineral finish.

I suspect this needs a hour long decant for it to show well.

Day 2: This wine was in a much better place day 2. Didn't take notes, but was really enjoyable.

January 9, 2021 - Dry and somewhat taut when opening. Decanting and aeration will hopefully do the job. Smell of strawberries and medium body. Wait and see...
Good but will let the other bottles wait for a year or so. Tannins for longer storage.
