December 8, 2021 - Pale gold color. Expressive rich nose of ripe orchid fruits, apricot, hay, flint, cashew nuttiness whiff of caramel creme brulee mingling with sweet toasty oak. Oily mouthfeel and yeasty on palate, quite broad and intense, hint of citrus peel bitterness on the rather short finish. Straight forward and ready to drink now. Big and savoury Meursault, good for the village level.

November 28, 2020 - This came highly recommended by someone very knowledgeable in Burgundy and particularly white Burgundy. And I can see why.

Medium-straw color with a touch of golden. First a touch reductive, but opens up with some swirling in the glass. Intensely mineral, with notes of flintstones, wet stone, there is also beautiful fruit of ripe orchard fruit, lemon oil, pear, as well as just a touch of sweet spices and some white flowers. It‘s medium-full bodied, with excellent mid-palate persistence, it has high acidity cutting through everything and excellent length with really nice complexity, especially in the context of village level. Really impressive and this seems to have the structure and stuffing for quite a few years of aging.

September 4, 2019 - 2017 Jobard Whites and Duband Reds (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Not quite as reduced as the St. Aubin. Full bodied, pear flavors. Seems like a good village example.
