  June 14, 2022 - In a really nice spot, soft and mellow, complex savory, spicy and herbal tones complement fresh fruit. Aromas of clove, allspice, cedar, dried flowers, beef jerky, a little smoke too, fruit notes include sweet ripe plum, cherry, and blackcurrant... elegant and fresh on the palate, more zip and cut than the nose suggests, herbal and spicy notes abound, a little tannic grip and subtle bitterness. Finishes tart and lively, diverse spice and herbal tones lingering. This is probably not going to improve a lot, but for the next few years it will make a brilliant pairing for all sorts of dishes including tomatoes, herbs and meat, probably lots of other pairings as well...

  March 3, 2022 - sulfur on opening which gives way to very ripe fruit, aged beef, mushrooms, and modeling clay. on palate round juice cherry, pomegranate juice, and plums.

  January 3, 2021 - nose: very earthy, forest floor, delightful compost pile.
  
  taste: sour cherry, juicy, very fruit forward. very bright, nice with lasagna. very light and beautiful color (almost like pinot noir), kinda summery

  December 13, 2020 - Medium-dark garnet colour. Cherry and plum aromas with some herbal notes. Lots of cherry taste and nicely-balanced acidity. A dry and tangy aftertaste. Paired well with ham using raspberry glaze.
