April 9, 2023 - From Magnum. Nothing to add to my previous note, except that the Magnum needs 2-3 more years to unfold. Nevertheless: Pure joy and unbelievable delicious. 92

April 2, 2023 - Drunk with friends, no formal notes taken. Not much to add to my previous notes. Delicious, very balanced, creamy Spätlese with a lot of exotic fruits and very subtle but present energy and tension. Long, very juicy finish This is a wine that should only be served in Mag or double Mags :). Will evolve over decades, but it is already really tempting. 92-93+

March 23, 2023 - So tasty. Fully agree with the notes below. This paired beautifully with a mild-medium spice Kerelan fish curry. Also great on its own whilst chopping / cooking. I have 6 bottles left but I have little experience with aged Riesling. Not sure either way about ageing potential. Jancis thinks up to 2032 but Mosel Fine Wine think 2040. My gut tells me it’s a medium drinker.

    April 19, 2022 - Glass: Zalto Universal
Popped and poured, drunk over two days. Clear, pale lemon color. Clean, medium+ intense, youthful nose. Pure grapes and exotic fruit basket mixed with some lovely fresh blossoms and herbs. On the palate an orgy of fruit, almost creamy and oily on the palate. This is for sure a declassified Auslese. But I don’t care. It is so f..king delicious and tempting right now. I could drink the whole bottle in an hour. If you have some bottles, pop one now. 92-93+
