February 11, 2023 - Still needs time to become more Pouilly-Fuissé-like. Not completely together yet, acidity is still high. A few more years in the cellar will bring its full potential IMO.

December 7, 2022 - The wines of Guffens-Heynen already have a special style: full-bodied, dense, lots of fruit of yellow, exotic fruits, roasted pineapple, light spice. The acidity also packs the 14% alcohol and brings everything into a nice balance. This is a lot of fun for Chadonnay lovers with a penchant for thick wines. Those looking for the lean, reductive and extremely mineral style a la a Chablis have found the antipode here. Only at the beginning of a drinking window. Can continue to mature excellently and still gain in complexity.

August 12, 2022 - Lovely nose with riper fruit notes, salinity, lemon, apple, and peach. Nice acidity on the palate with more peach, minerals, lemon, and grapefruit flavors. Long finish. This is very good and quite approachable at the moment. 93-94

April 30, 2021 - medium yellow color, apple and orange notes on the pure Chardonnay nose, on the palate quite firm with some cream already showing, very slightly honeyed slate notes, stones, limes, fine long finish, very impressive and most attractive, a little cellar time should bring good things.
