January 6, 2024 - Noble wood and leather in the nose. Still fresh red fruit, cedar, plum, tobacco, chocolate, eucalyptus, liquorice, spices and earthy notes. Surprisingly young. Much finesse and a good balance for a difficult year. Requires a good 2 hours of decanting to wake up and to provide a nice drinking experience. Drink now.

December 27, 2021 - Not as passed as I was fearing given the latest TNs. Short but still balanced and pleasant, with tertiary notes

July 31, 2015 - Dark red with good Crimson hue. It has a smoky nose along with vibrant black fruits, olive, mineral and subtle earthy notes.
Good fruity entry with smoky notes, violet, blueberry and leather. Good concentration and rounded mouth-feel. Still primary and exceed my expectation for a 1997 judging fr my past experience. Nice Long finish with hints of spice, chewy tannins.

December 26, 2014 - Decanted for an hour, drank with dinner. Nice cigar box on the nose, fruit unfortunately faded and a bit tart. Never really pulled itself together. Clearly in decline.

July 19, 2014 - In decline but not done yet. Still some fruit, note of leather and graphite, more tannin than expected. As another post mentioned, really declined after opened 2 hours. Drink now.
