December 6, 2022 - I drank my Cabreo over a two night period. Popped and poured and I was a bit disappointed. My Cabreo displayed hints of leather and tobacco. The finish wasn't very fruity either. The acidity was a bit high for my taste, and I noticed no improvement on day two. I have another bottle and I will try it in another year.

February 27, 2021 - Tenute del Cabreo Super Tuscan wine tasting with Collectors Wine World and Giovanni Folonari, organized by American Express: Wine 4 of 4. From grapes grown in the Greve in Chianti hills. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese. Aged for 18 months in 225l French oak barrels (30% new). Red fruit, cherry, earthy and vegetal notes, coffee, spices, sweet vanilla, and oak. At this point, the wine is too oaky to drink it on its own. We enjoyed it with truffle salami and the food pairing eliminated the oak and brought the fruit to the fore and made the wine harmonious.

September 6, 2020 - Deep ruby, intense. Beatiful blue/dark fruit and smoke. Med acid, med well integrated tannins, great length. Goes with any tomato based italian dish. You want to keep drinking its fresh fruit. Will repeat.
