October 20, 2012 - From magnum. Didn't take detailed notes, but this was absolutely delicious zin. Good now, but could definitely go longer.

October 30, 2010 - Excellent Zin. Opened 1 of 2 bottles based upon the drink window (or lack thereof). Still plenty of noticeable fruit and very well balanced. Tannins were supple and refined. Highly recommend. Put it above a recent bottle of Biale Black Chicken ('07). Will try again in 6-12 months, but quickly a fan.

January 21, 2009 - Beautiful ruby. Solid viscous legs. Nice vanilla and big dark fruit on the nose. Lush body (especially 1 hour after opening) with a fair amount of aciidity. Very pleasant with lots of cassis, graphite, black liquorice, leather, and spring flower overtones. Nice long finish that keeps on changing in flavorful ways. Definitely a favorite.

December 31, 2007 - Tightly wound and focused, wild berry and smoky sage bouquet with concentrated plum, licorice and spicy minerals... firm tannins through a lingering finish.
